All cases of coronavirus eliminated in the UAE

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed the absence of coronavirus cases in the UAE. The Abu Dhabi Health Authority, in turn, stated that there are currently no cases of coronavirus in the capital of the UAE. All previously infected with this virus have already recovered and left the hospital.

Since the beginning of the year, about 40 people have been diagnosed with the virus in the UAE, two of whom died during this time. The epicenter of the spread of coronavirus is neighboring with the UAE, Saudi Arabia. According to the authorities of the kingdom, starting in 2012, when the coronavirus was discovered, 157 people died from this disease. Those infected have symptoms resembling SARS. The carriers, according to scientists, are one-humped camels that live on the Arabian Peninsula.
