Dubai company develops futuristic drone

The automaker from Dubai introduced a fully autonomous electric car.

Dubai-based W Motors and Iconiq Motors officially unveiled the Muse drone at Auto Shanghai.

The all-electric drone is equipped with an advanced infotainment system and smart on-board services, as well as innovative wide screens.

Muse tests, created in partnership with a subsidiary of Iconiq Motors, will take place on Dubai roads in designated areas starting in 2020. Car production will begin in 2023.

Two large screens and four personal tablets provide a personalized experience for drivers. Muse is also said to be equipped with state-of-the-art cybersecurity systems.

W Motors reports that with four seats, including two swivel front seats, the car can also be turned into a mobile conference room.

“Electric cars and autonomous vehicles are the future, there is no arguing with this,” said Ralph Debbas, founder and CEO of W Motors, “It is estimated that by 2040 electric cars will occupy 40-50% of the global automotive market compared to from 3% today.
