Joseph Kobzon: legend # 1

THE FAMOUS POET ROBERT CHRISTMAS SOME WERE NOTED: "FOR JOSEPH KOBZON, ESTRADA IS SIGNIFICANT TO A HIGH STAND. FOR IN EVERY NEW SONG, IT ALWAYS TURNS TO SOME SOME SOME JOSEPH KOBZON HAS ALREADY REDUCED QUALITY FOR THE Singer: FOR YEARS, WHY SOMETHING SOMETHING, SOMETIMES NOT BETTER, BUT ALL BETTER AND BETTER ... ".

Not on the stage of the Kremlin Palace, where our compatriots are used to seeing it, but on the chamber floor, although the most luxurious, but still the Burj Al Arab hotel. The master’s proximity to the guests, the presence of Ninel Mikhailovna’s wife and numerous friends in the hall turned the three-hour concert into an almost family evening. With confidential conversations, easy humor and, of course, songs loved since childhood, in which, like in a mirror, the history of the country itself is reflected.

Many people know that Joseph Davydovich is the absolute champion in the number of awards he has one and a half hundred, and this fact is even listed in the Guinness book. But it was the title of People's Artist of the USSR, received in 1987, that the titled master was especially proud.

"In the history of the Soviet state, there were only nine people’s artists of the USSR on the stage. The last was Alla Borisovna Pugacheva, whom Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev awarded this title in 1991. I really value them and insist that they represent me like that," admitted in an interview Joseph Davydovich.

The great Soviet baritone delights with his ability to work and unbending will, equanimity and prudence ... Looking into his eyes, I want to ask for practical advice: how to live in order to love as much, to be strong friends, not to cool down and not get tired ...

“I’m 77 years old and I don’t have many friends. I was born in Ukraine and still am friends with my school number 6 in the Donetsk region, I’m visiting places of youth,” says Joseph Davydovich. “I miss a lot of what was in the Soviet Union. But I can't say that I want to go back there because I was young and healthy then.” In 2003, a two-meter bronze monument to the "beloved" singer Joseph Kobzon was opened in Donetsk.

The artist was against the broad gesture of fellow countrymen. But now Donbass residents say: "We meet at Kobzon"!

“The increased attention from people pleases until it translates into senseless excitement and everyone forgets that you need to respect each other. At such moments, you don’t want to be Kobzon! It’s hard to realize that it became the reason that people forgot about his and about my human dignity! "

From the book of Nikolai Dobryukha "Joseph Kobzon. As before God"

“Such people don’t die, they fall like trees. They don’t retire, they just fall on the fly, on a gallop, on the go”

Yuri Grigorovich
