DUBAI ROAD AND TRANSPORT COMMITTEE STARTED EQUIPPING NEW PARKS AND INSTALL PAYMENT TERMINALS IN THE DOWNTOWN DUBAI AREA, AROUND BURJ KHALIFA SKY SCRAPER.
Parking areas will be open from 08.00 to 20.00 from Saturday to Thursday, free parking will be only on Fridays. Seasonal parking subscription fees in this area will not work. Similar rules, by the way, will apply to the parking areas of Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City, owned by the private developer Tesot, as well as in the Fish and Gold Markets in Deira.
Parking costs, as previously reported, will soon be increased to 4 dirhams per hour, 8, 12 and 16 dirhams per two, three and four hours, respectively.
