Traveling with children. Know-how.

The calendar month is May, which means that the long-awaited time of travel begins. Someone will fly to meet with their grandmothers, and someone will learn new cities and countries. In our article, we share tips on how best to organize a flight with children.

Memories of how your whole family discovered new countries and visited interesting places together will stay with children for life. But traveling with young children is not always easy. This is usually a test for parents. Whether you can successfully complete this quest or spend a certain number of nerve cells depends on how well you prepare for the trip.

1. Flight.

Think about when it will be more convenient for your child to fly. If he has a daytime dream, then it is most logical to focus on him. Or maybe you have a long flight ahead, then it is best to choose a night flight and have a good night's sleep with the whole family. Pay special attention to the choice of tickets if you plan to change time zones. For example, when flying to America, we advise you to choose flights in such a way as not to change places day by night. For example, we fly to America by a daytime flight to fly there in the evening and go to bed in a new time. And back - at night, to sleep on the plane and fly in the morning. Such a schedule avoids jet lag. By the way, if you are traveling with a baby, then do not forget to order a cradle on board (the conditions for providing a cradle should be clarified on the airline’s website).

2. Hotel.

Take care of your child in advance. Book a crib, ask for an extra bed for older children, and so on. Moreover, when the hotel knows that a small guest is flying to them, they are usually happy to leave small gifts in the room.

3. Hand luggage.

Gather in your hand luggage all the essentials that you and your children may need first of all. There are unpleasant situations when baggage is lost. And running on the first day in an unfamiliar city, for example, in search of a milk mixture, is still a pleasure.

4. Stroller.

If you are traveling with a small child, then pay attention to the babyzenyoyo stroller. Having tried once, it will be difficult to return to other models (at least for the duration of flights). The most important advantage of this stroller is, of course, the ability to take it on board. YOYO is the only stroller officially registered with the IATA International Air Transport Association. And this means that no airline has the right to ask to hand over this stroller (naturally, if there is a cover) to the luggage. If such a situation does arise, it only speaks of the incompetence of the employee and you can safely assert your rights.

5. Favorite toy.

Children are incredible conservatives, and if you follow the usual travel schedule it is not possible, then at least take his favorite toy with you. This will give the child a sense of calm and stability. Giraffes and bears have repeatedly helped children leave the zone of "turbulence".

6. Flight.

The main rule here is to give the child the opportunity to occupy himself with something in flight. Indeed, during long journeys / flights, even adults become bored, not to mention children. Prepare a variety of snacks for your child, order baby food (you need to do this in advance, sometimes 3 days before the flight) and think about how the child can entertain himself in flight. After all, there are a lot of options besides the tablet. Be sure to take a warm jacket (preferably with a hood): you will never guess whether the plane will have a comfortable temperature or the air conditioner will operate at full capacity.

To spend time in flight with benefit and interest, the Cloudberry bookstore has compiled a selection of travel books.

3. From city to city.

4. My city stickers.

5. Atlas of the world with windows.

And also bring along books from the new collection about the elephant calf and the tractor, which will help the child fall asleep more quickly.
