The world's first restaurant based on the most famous culinary show launched in Dubai

Themed restaurant based on the MasterChef show, run by a renowned chef, will open in Dubai.

The world's first MasterChef restaurant, inspired by the culinary show, will open at the Millennium Place Marina in Dubai in April.

The development company The First Group has appointed the world-famous chef Maria "Margarita" Waamonde-Beggs to lead the creation of the kitchen and create a menu for the project. She has already begun to develop menus and train staff.

The opening of the restaurant will take place under an agreement signed last year between The First Group and Endemol Shine Group, the producer and distributor of the show.

MasterChef is one of the most successful culinary shows in the world, broadcast in more than 200 countries. The restaurant will introduce guests to the program participants and recipes for champions from around the world.

"Our goal was to focus the stars' experiences on the dishes that they will create, while offering a laid-back and comfortable restaurant atmosphere," said Duncan Fraser-Smith, vice president of restaurant management at The First Group.

Vaamonde Beggs participated in restarting Four Season hotels and resorts in Argentina, launching Catch Dubai as a sous-chef, and then moved to Catch LA as an executive chef and is now returning to Dubai to work with the legendary Masaharu Morimoto .

“Dinner at MasterChef's restaurant, the TV Experience, will be an absolutely breathtaking experience,” promises Fraser Smith.

Participants and champions of the show will share their stories and experiences with guests through their signature dishes.

The First Group will work with Endemol Shine Group to expand the MasterChef brand, TV Experience, worldwide in the coming years. The First Group plans to introduce up to 40 original restaurant concepts in the UAE by 2021.
