An Emirate shoe designer uses desert sand to produce his new shoes.
Sheikh Al Ali, 24, a designer from the UAE, has launched a new project inspired by the dunes of the emirate's deserts. Kuthub heel in her performance is filled with real desert sand.
“We are a nation that has grown in the desert, it is comfort and a home for us. It’s not bad at all to always have part of it with you?” - says Al Ali.
The initial price of the design is $ US 315. At the moment, the range of shoes is limited, but next month a new collection will be presented with all sizes and a large selection of colors.
Al Ali Gasah Studio was founded in 2017. In her work, she follows the design philosophy of creating modern products with classic elements. Among other things, Al Ali managed to release Japanese bags decorated with traditional henna designs.
