Hot haze filled to the brim with blinding light. In general, it’s warm. Even too much. No, of course, I suspect that there are big lovers of sunbathing and generally that’s hotter ... You know, sometimes it seems to me that the strongest survives in Dubai in the summer, therefore it is here that one can test the theory of natural selection in practice. Okay, joking! But nevertheless, I want to warn our beloved compatriots in a friendly manner - it is better not to experiment with the Emirate sun in the summertime. If you want details, take a look at any geographical map - the equator, not exactly in the middle of everything drawn on it, but located very close to the UAE. Better yet, read our articles prepared specifically for this issue, and you will know exactly how to make friends with the sun, being, literally, at the epicenter of its boisterous activity.
So, now about ... That's right, again about the weather. In the best English traditions, when there is nothing to talk about, local expatriates vividly discuss the lack of oxygen, endless traffic jams and the impossible increase in rents for housing. But I want to say that in addition to the heat, the Emirate summer gives us many surprises. Among them, the ubiquitous conditioning of all crowded places: shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, sports grounds. There are even places with radical air cooling, such as Ski Dubai indoor ski slope and artificial ice rinks. By the way, the first ice restaurant in the Emirates opened in Times Square Shopping Center, where everything from the bar counter to tables and chairs is carved from real ice. The second summer joy is the introduction of fares on the Dubai main motorway. As the representatives of the new Salik system (translated from Arabic “fair”) say, this will significantly reduce the number of cars on the main roads of the city .... Let's wait.
The third, most long-awaited and joyful surprise is even called almost the same - the festival "Dubai Summer Surprises". Without it, summer in Dubai is not summer, and heat is not heat. The 10th anniversary festival of the year awaits its guests - both children and adults! We will be very glad to them too!
In the meantime, I again go to drink cool juice to the place where the most pleasant and irreplaceable “summer friend” humming monotonously and almost inaudibly - air conditioning. This makes us confident that we will certainly still chat with you. Let it buzz. Summer "surprises" with air conditioning are somehow not very welcome.
