The airline flydubai reported that the relatives of the victims of the crash will receive compensation in the amount of 20 thousand US dollars for each dead.
The corresponding statement has been posted on the airline’s official website: “At present, our priority is to identify the relatives of those killed in the tragic accident and to contact them to provide immediate support to the victims. Flydubai is organizing a financial assistance program in the amount of $ 20,000 per passenger, in accordance with our conditions of carriage, to address urgent financial needs. "
The Ministry of Transport of Russia previously said that the heads of four regions whose residents died in the crash of a Boeing in Rostov-on-Don, announced their readiness to allocate 1 million rubles to the families of the victims.
FlyDubai's Boeing 737-800, flying from Dubai to Rostov-on-Don, crashed while landing in low visibility conditions. In total there were 62 people on board, all of them died.
