Louis Vuitton ARTISTIC HISTORY
For the first time in the Middle East, the French fashion house Louis Vuitton held an art event in which it invited the famous Iranian artist Farhad Mushiri to take part. He was asked to create graphic images for Louis Vuitton brand stores in the UAE.
The unique project consists of four paintings, which are exhibited in the stores of the French Fashion House, located in the Mall Mall in Abu Dhabi, Burjuman Mall, The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. The canvases were named: Once Upon a Time at the Mall of the Emirates, Painting at Waterfalls at Burjuman, At the Top of the World at The Dubai Mall, and Frozen Stories at Marina Mall.
“I like to demonstrate my work in places that are not necessarily for art,” Mushiri said. “I also like to create my work from materials that are not for art. A joint project with Louis Vuitton really provided me with the opportunity to showcase the results of my work for a very diverse audience. I am very pleased, it was exciting and interesting. "
